Slimo Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026
Slimo collects no personal data. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking of any kind. The app works completely offline and everything your child makes stays on your device.
Slimo is a coloring game made for children aged 3-8, published by DWB Studio. Because children cannot meaningfully consent to data collection, we designed Slimo so that there is nothing to consent to: the app has no server, no login and no analytics. This policy explains that in detail.
1Information We Do Not Collect
- No names, e-mail addresses, phone numbers or birthdays. The app never asks for them.
- No accounts or sign-in. There is nothing to register for.
- No location data of any kind.
- No contacts, calendar, photo library, camera or microphone access. The app does not request these permissions.
- No advertising identifiers (IDFA / Advertising ID) and no device fingerprinting.
- No analytics or usage tracking. We do not measure which pictures your child opens or how long they play.
- No behavioural profiles and no data used for advertising or marketing.
2What Stays On Your Device
Slimo saves your child's finished artwork, which pictures have been completed, the daily gift date and the sound on/off setting in the app's own private storage on the device. This information never leaves the device: it is not uploaded, backed up to us, or shared with anyone. We cannot see it. If you delete the app, all of it is deleted with it.
3No Ads
Slimo contains no advertising of any kind — no banners, no video ads, no 'reward' ads, no cross-promotion of other apps and no third-party advertising SDKs. This is a deliberate product decision, not just a compliance one.
4No Internet Connection Required
All artwork and content is included inside the app. Slimo works fully offline in airplane mode. The only time the app uses the network is when a parent chooses to make a purchase or restore a previous purchase, which is handled by Apple or Google (see below).
5Crash Reporting
The current version of Slimo does not include crash reporting or any diagnostic reporting. If a future version adds anonymous crash reporting to help us fix bugs, it will be limited to technical crash information containing no personal data, and this policy and the App Store privacy label will be updated before that version is released.
6Purchases
- Slimo offers optional one-time purchases that unlock additional picture packs. There is no subscription and no virtual currency.
- All purchases are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We never see or receive your name, card number, billing address or any payment details.
- Every purchase is placed behind a parental gate — a short question a young child cannot answer — so a child cannot start a purchase on their own.
- Purchases are tied to the store account that bought them and are remembered on the device. Restoring them on a new device is handled by Apple or Google, not by us.
- You can disable in-app purchases entirely on the device: on iOS via Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions, and on Android via Google Play's purchase authentication settings.
7No Sharing, No Social Features
Slimo has no chat, no comments, no user profiles, no leaderboards and no way for a child to send or receive anything. Artwork cannot be posted or shared from inside the app. There is no contact between your child and any other person through Slimo.
8Third Parties
Slimo includes no third-party advertising, analytics, attribution or social media SDKs. The only third parties involved are Apple and Google, and only for the app download and for optional purchases, under their own privacy policies.
9Children's Privacy
Slimo is designed for children and is intended to comply with the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), the GDPR's protections for children (including GDPR-K), the Apple App Store Kids Category requirements and the Google Play Families policy. Because we collect no personal information from anyone, we do not collect personal information from children. We therefore do not need — and never ask for — verifiable parental consent for data collection.
10Deleting Data
Because nothing is stored on our servers, there is no data for us to delete and no request you need to send us. Deleting the app from the device removes your child's artwork, progress and settings permanently. Please note this also means artwork is not recoverable after deletion, so save any drawings you want to keep to your photo library first if that option is available in your version.
11Changes To This Policy
If we change how Slimo works in a way that affects privacy, we will update this page and the 'Last updated' date above, and we will update the App Store and Google Play privacy information before releasing that version.
